Viking Shield™ 56/66 is used everywhere where you need strong doors or large gates of maintenance-free aluminium with high demands for long life, low maintenance costs and robust construction.
Viking Shield™ 56 manufactured outward single and double doors and gates in an uninsulated profile system (without thermal breaks) for industrial and masterbatch buildings, wastewater and elbyggnader, petrol stations, workshops and rental properties.
Viking Shield™ 66 manufactured with insulated profiles for outward opening single and double doors and gates.
The mitred corners with space for sharp corner joints give the door leaves high rigidity and strong corner construction. The doors are manufactured dimensions adapted and can be equipped with different accessories.
Construction
Viking doors are produced with Preconal original profiles. Frame and the door leaf are mitred corners which are welded together to achieve maximum strength.
Performance
As standard the door complete with frame, threshold, hinges, door part. The delivery includes adjustable set screw for mounting in concrete, wood, steel or full bricks. Mounting kit for lightweight concrete can be ordered as accessories. Reinforcements: All doors are reinforced door closers.
Surface treatment
Doors and gates are delivered anodised. The doors can be supplied in any RAL or NCS color.
Sealing
The door is fitted with double seals made of rubber in quality EPDM. The sealing strips are mounted in the door frame each door leaf and effectively seals.
Lock
The door is designed for modular locks. Other types of locks, escape door lock or emergency release can be fitted to order. The standard version is delivered door to one of FSAB approved lock box. A measure 56.5 mm B dimension 34mm – see figure p. 22. Double doors are supplied as standard with locks.
Hinges
Hinges made of aluminium with stainless steel pole. Juster bar in both height and width. The hinges are virtually maintenance free and do not require lubrication. If the door is painted, delivered also hinges varnished.
Glass
The door leaf can be supplied with single glass or 2 glazing (tempered).
